Andrew Says

Jonathan - "I'm a farmer!"

Andrew - "I'm farmer!"

J - "No, Andrew. You're mimic." [He's heard us use that word...but doesn't have a clue what it means]

A - "I'm mimic!"

At breakfast...
Andrew - "Mama, may-ya bury muffin please?"
[translation...Mama, may I have a berry muffin please?]

Mama - "That's a pumpkin muffin. Here you go."

A - "Pump-kin muffin!" (shoves entire piece into mouth at one time)
"See num-mer ear, Mama"

M - "Here, Andrew. You may look at this box."

A - "Num-mer ear!"
[One day the other week, Daddy noticed that Count Chocula's ear looks like it has a 6 in it.]

Standing in kitchen, behind the gate he's just closed...
Andrew - "BUBBA!!!!"

Jonathan - "What, Andrew?"

A - "Bubba open please!"

J - "I can't open it, Andrew. Ask Mama."

A - "Mama, open please!!"

Looking at books while Mama gets supper ready...
Jonathan - "Andrew, do you want to see this book?"

Andrew - "Yes. Wead book, Bubba."

J - "I can't read it, Andrew."

Mama - "Tell him about the pictures, Buddy."

J - "Look at this picture, Andrew. That's a motorcycle. Can you say motorcycle?"

A - "Moda-cycle"

J - "That's right, Andrew." (turns the page and points to another picture...) "That's a dibben. Can you say dibben, Andrew?" [When Jonathan doesn't know the name of something, he'll just make up one]

A - "Dibben!" (points to another picture) "What that, Bubba?"

J - "That's a tandem by-cigle. Can you say tandem by-cygle?"

A - "Tandem by-cygle"

Mama - "Time for supper!"

A - "Eat food!!"
