My Hair

When I was wittle I didn't have much hair.

Den one day Mama and Daddy taked me to get my hair cut.

It's been so much fun ever since then...

In case you're wondering, here are a few fings we've been saying here at our house...

1. some days you have bone hands...you know, when you take your gwoves off and your hands have nofing on dem (we both say dis one)

2. gooses...dats when you gots wots of gooses

3. dews..."I wike when Daddy dews dat wif me!" (Jonathan)

4. wedgie...silly Mama thought I said "wedgie" but I was saying "wed jeep"!!! You know, the jeep was wed, not bwue or gween...it was wed!! (Jonathan)

5. make a wap...when I wanna sit on Mama's wap, I tell her to make a wap (Andrew)

6. when the sun comes up...dat means tomorrow (we both say dis one)

7. sumpin else...evewy day we ask Mama for sumpin else when we're done eatin our lunch. Mama and Daddy say it's called dessert, but we call it sumpin else (we both say dis one) (evewy day) (wots of times!!!!)

8. wiper towels...dey are the white towels that Mama tears off the woll and den when we're done with dem we frow dem in the twashcan (we both say dis one)

Baby Chain

Well, it's almost gonna be soon! Mama made a baby chain.

Evewy day we take a wink off the chain. The wast wink says BABY. That means the baby will be born that day. Then all the winks will be gone.

It's Andrew's turn to take a wink off the chain today.

Wearning Wetters

Some days Mama helps me and Andrew wearn bout wetters. We wook at a book and say the wetters and their sounds.

We wearned the short sounds for a, e, i, o, and u. And we wearned some more wetters too. (Mama said she's sorry that this video is a wittle bit hard to hear. I was talking quiet.)

And then we pway a game. Some cards have wetters on them. If you get a wetter card, you tell Mama what sound that wetter makes. If you get the eyeballs card, you run acwoss the woom and get a toy and bwing it back to the table. It's a fun game!

Birfday Stuff

Did you know I had a birfday? And now I'm fwee!!

When the sun came up and I waked up, I opened some birfday cards. One was from Gwama and Gwampa Swaim. And they sent me a doggie and a car.

But I shared the car with Bubba. We put the doggie and the car in some water. Mama said we have to wait a wong time den they get bigger.

And I got my number fwee shirt.

When Daddy got home fwom work we had birfday cake for sumpin else. But Mama made cupcakes and dey were basketball cupcakes and baseball cupcakes.

Evweybody singed to me den I bwowed out the candles. We wiked eating dem and we wiked the gween ice cweam too.

Den I got to open pwesents!!!

I even got some punchin bawoons!!!

Not long after a discussion on serving and that it means being a helper...

Mama (picking up the boys after being in the nursery at church) - "Andrew, did you have fun in your class?"

Andrew - "Yep!"

M - "Did you help put toys away when it was time to clean up?"

A - "Yep!"

A (after thinking for a minute) - "Mama, was that being servant?"

M (Hey!! He was listening!!!!!) - "Yep, it was. That was a good thing!"

A - (BIG smile on his face)

Jonathan - "Mama?"

Mama - "What, bud?"

J - "I saw silver noodles and bwue gwass in Kingtucky."

M - "You did??!?"

J - "Yep. When I went there with Daddy."

M - "When did you go there with Daddy?"

J - "We went when Daddy was a wittle boy."

M - "Oh????!?"
