Traveling

A tale of our recent travels down south as told by Jonathan with help from Andrew...

Jonathan - Last week we goed to see Gwandpa and Gwandma Swaim. It took a very loooooonnnnngggggg time to get there. Cause we had to go see Uncle Jeff and Aunt "We-Ann" first. And Cwitter. Cwitter is a cat.

Andrew - (high-pitched squeal)

J - Cwitter eats cat food and dwinks water fwom a bowl. Andrew wanted to twy some of Cwitter's water but Mama said no. Uncle Jeff dwived us in his car. That was FUN!!! He dwived us fast up and down and it made my tummy feel funny and we said "WHHHEEEEE!!!" and it was fun!!! They dwived us to see a house and dwived us to the ice cweam store. I ate all my ice cweam and then asked Daddy if I could have some of his. I LOVE ice cweam!

A - Cweam!

J - And then we had to go see Uncle Ev-ret and Aunt "Wah-nae." They have dogs. Two dogs.

A - Doggy! Woof!!!

J - And Wally bird.

A - Bwaack!!!!

J - Andrew liked to look at Wally's toys in his cage. And when he tried to stick his fingers in Wally's cage, evewybody said "NO Andrew!" And they have pigeons out in another pwace. Aunt Renee took us out to see dem. AND they have twains!! We builded a twain twack and then pwayed twains.

J - And then we went to camp. But not Son's Rock Kids' Camp. Just camp. Daddy's fwiends were working at the camp. There was a dog at the camp.

A - Doooooogy!!! Woof!!

J - He was a big dog. He didn't say "woof." He was just quiet. We walked all over the camp and seed all the things on the camp. Then we went in the building. There were tables in the building and there were balls on the tables. If you wolled the balls they would fall down some holes and come out at the bottom. We pwayed with those balls lots and lots. We ate lunch at camp and sweeped there for nap time.

J - Then we went to Gwandpa and Gwandma's house.

J - Gwandma let me pway with her bears and her wagon.

A - Arrhhrrhh!!

J - And we went outside and sat on the swing and waited for hummingbirds to come.

J - I didn't always like to sit still to wait for the birds to come. Andrew didn't either. And one day we got buckets of water and scoops and we pwayed outside with the water.

J - Daddy showed me how to put more water in the bucket and then I did it all by myself. But later Daddy said stop, no more water now. So I stopped.

J - Did you know Gwandpa and Gwandma have a pwaygwound right in fwont of their house? We pwayed there. And Mama and Daddy took us to nother pwaygwound one day.

A - Wing!

J - One night we sweeped at Gwandpa and Gwandma's house but Mama and Daddy weren't there. Gwandma gived us pizza to eat and pwayed with us. Then we sweeped and when we waked up, then Mama and Daddy came back. Where did you go, Mama and Daddy?

A - Mama! Daddy!

J - And we went to see some more aunts and uncles. When we dwived there, Mama telled us all the names. Andrew wearned how to say the names.

A - Buhnie. Don. Cot.

J - Aunt Bernie went back to her house and bringed us some toys to pway with. We taked the cars and twucks outside to dwive them. And we ate our food out there too.

A - Eat!! Mah gup!

J - Then we dwived the cars and twucks some more. And we runned up and down the wamp. But sometimes I fell down and sometimes Andrew fell down. Andrew scwaped up his nose when he falled down.

A - Ka-boom!

J - And we said Happy Birfday Mama and Happy Birfday Gwandma. They both had Happy Birfday when we were there.

A - Appy!

J - We gived Gwandma some pwesents. And we had some birfday cake and some ice cweam. Aunt Renee let me lick the icing off the candles after Gwandma and Mama blowed them out.

A - And we dwived back to Aunt Renee and Uncle Ev-ret's house. I pwayed with twains again. And after we ate supper, we dwived to see the wace car go-karts. I got to dwive in one with Daddy.

J - Andrew had to stay with Mama. He didn't look too happy. I think he wanted to dwive one too. Daddy said he had to get bigger first.

J - Then we dwived back to Uncle Jeff and Aunt "We-Ann's" house. This time they let us watch the fish movie on their very big TV.

A - TB! Fishy...bub...bub!

J - Then we dwived back to our house. That was fun!!

A - Aww done!!!
