Uncle Jeff

Uncle Jeff and Aunt LeeAnn came to visit us a few weeks ago. That was so much fun!! Did you know that Uncle Jeff likes to "play cans" too?

And he does an awesome monkey impression. Ask him sometime, I'm sure he'd do it for you too.

Uncle Jeff and Aunt LeeAnn knew that I just had my birthday and they brought some presents for me.

Thanks for the new Mack truck, Uncle Jeff! When are you coming back to play trucks with me?

Speaking of birthdays...our family has lots in the month of May...me, Pop-Pop Swaim, Uncle Jeff, and "Gum-Gum" Huber. Happy birthday everybody!! If you come to my house, I'll sing the Happy Birthday song for you.

Almost forgot...wanted to tell you about another present I got for my birthday...I got a water fall. Yep, my very own. (Mama said it's really called a water play table...ok Mama...now can I go play with my water fall again?) We got it out of the box the other day and Mama filled it with water...lots of times!! I had so much fun splashing it all out. Mama said that helped her cause she didn't have to go wash her car...I did it for her. I hope we have another hot day very soon cause I really want to go out and use that again. FUN!!!

Please

Please pray for our friend Simon. His daddy is in heaven now.

Busy Week

Hey everyone!! It's An-dew again! Wanted to fill you in on some of the things that've been happening here this week...

Uncle Jeff and Aunt LeeAnn came to visit us last weekend...but I promised "Jun-Jun" that he could tell you about that. Something he wanted to tell you about a truck....

On Tuesday morning we all got in the car and went for a ride...a ride to the doctor's office. Mama said they wanted to see how big "Jun-Jun" and I had gotten. Well, apparently there are lots of tall people in our family because they said that "Jun-Jun" is as tall as a 3 year old!! And I'm getting pretty long too. After the doctor told us how tall we are, she checked our ears and eyes and all the other things that doctors are supposed to check. Not so bad. Yet.

The friendly doctor left and the nurse came back in the room. I've decided that I don't really like that nurse...she made me cry. And she made my brother cry a little bit too. She stuck us with needles. OUCH!!!

Mama said we might end up hurting even more if the nurse didn't stick those needles in us. Ok, Mama, I'll trust you on that one...but I still don't like that nurse!

On to something better...got to hang out with Daddy before he went to work.

I did promise "Jun-Jun" that he could tell you some things about this week...so that's all from me for now...except...

HAPPY!!!!

"Jun-Jun" here again. In case you missed it, Tuesday was my "happy"!! I know, I know...Mama kept telling me that it was my birthday, but I'm calling it my happy!!!! Let me tell you why...

When I woke up there were balloons in my room...and one of them was an Elmo balloon!!!!!! And then after I got dressed I got to open a present. When we went downstairs there were more balloons. Have you ever played with a balloon? You should try it sometime...you pull the string and it comes down...you let go of the string and it goes up. What could be better than that?

After breakfast I got to open a few more presents.

Then there was a knock on the door. When Mama and I opened it, Miss Doreen, Jimmy, Gloria, Mary, and Libby where standing there. With a bear for me! They came in and we all played with toys until lunch was ready.

After we ate lunch, Mama brought a cake over to the table. There was a candle on it. After everyone sang that birthday song, Mama told me to blow the candle out.
It took a couple tries but I got it...and everyone clapped for me. That cake was the BEST!!!!! What was so great about it, you ask? Well, just everything!!

Did I mention that "Gum-Gum" and Pop-Pop Huber came while we were eating lunch? They came and ate with us. Then they had some presents for me to open. One was from my great aunt...it had balls...FUN!!!! The other was a marble roller from "Gum-Gum" and Pop-Pop.

We all had fun with that! (Even Daddy!!!)

Oh, and I got a new rocking chair.
Actually Mama said it's not brand new. She had gotten it from her "Gum-Gum" and Pop-Pop when she turned 2 years old. And now I get to have it.

Later that night I got to talk to my "Gum-Gum" and Pop-Pop in North Carolina...and see them too! Daddy took me downstairs and there they were on the computer. Thanks for singing to me "Gum-Gum!!"

And that's why it was a HAPPY!!

It's Coming!!!

It's me, "Jun-Jun," again.

Mama wanted me to tell you that An-dew slept for 6 whole hours in a row last night. I really don't know why she was so excited about that...I mean, I sleep for 9 or 10 hours every night. What's so great about 6??

Enough about that! Did you know that my birthday is coming? It's on Tuesday and I'm going to be 2. See....

I'M SOOOO EXCITED!!! (And I don't even know what a birthday is!)

Gotta go...!

ps...let me tell you one more time...

Andrew Can...

This is Andrew and I'd like to set the record straight. Contrary to what my big brother may believe, I can do soooo much more than "just cry!" I can drink milk with the best of them, wiggle all around, get a good nap, "talk" to Mama and Daddy, hold my head up, and smile great big smiles.

Oh, and I do really like to watch my brother and see what he's doing...he can do so many more things than me...maybe he'll teach me some of those things soon!

Mama and Jonathan took me to see the doctor today. I've had a cough all week and Mama wanted to make sure everything was ok. It was. I did hear the doctor tell Mama that she has to keep sucking all the boogers out of my nose. That's not always such a fun thing.

You know, Mama was telling me the other day that the beginning of your life and the end of your life are a lot alike. People push you around in things with wheels on them, you have to have others take care of you, and you get hair in strange places. Mama says I have hair on my ears.

Whew!! That's hard work typing all those words! I think I better go take another nap!!
