My name is "Jun-Jun" (Mama's translation = Jonathan) and I'm the storyteller today.Let me tell you a little bit about myself...I'm almost 2 years old. Mama said my birthday is next week and that everyone will sing to me. I hope we get something good to eat too!!
My favorite toys to play with are my "tucks." Sometimes when Daddy is home he plays "tucks" with me. That's the best!! I also like reading books. Mama lets me sit next to her when I look at books. And I LOVE going for walks!! Yesterday after I got up from my nap Daddy took me for a walk...and I got to check out all the key holes on the cars.
April has been a crazy month here at my house. Actually it all started back in March. One day Mama and Daddy took me to play at my friend's house. When I was done playing, Pop-pop took me back to my house. The next day Daddy came and then we all went to the hospital to see Mama and a baby. Would you believe that new baby is my new baby brother!!?! Mama and the baby stayed at the hospital for a few more days and my other Pop-pop and "Gum-gum" (Mama's translation = grandma) came and stayed with me.
When Mama did come home, the baby came home too. Oh, his name is "An-dew." He's fun to look at...but he sure can make a lot of noise when he cries.Mama lets me get a new diaper for "An-dew" when he needs one. And sometimes I get to put his "paci" back in his mouth. Wonder what's so great about that thing anyway? Fingers are way better to stick in your mouth!
I guess it's a good thing to have a baby "An-dew" even if he doesn't do very much right now.
Enough for today...Mama thinks I'm upstairs taking my nap right now. Better go before she finds out where I really am!!
