Busy Week
Hey everyone! It's me...Andrew!
You know, it's hard getting to this computer to type anything. My days are just so full of playing with Bubba (that's how I say brother) and reading books with Mama and eating and sleeping...AND I have to come down "deps" to even get to the computer. I can do the going up but not the going down. Makes it a real challenge to get to the computer by myself, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, Mama said I could tell you about what we've been doing this week. Monday we went to the store with Mama. I got to ride in the shopping cart and Bubba walked. We put things like graham crackers and milk and cans and bananas (I call them "n-n-n-n-n") in the shopping cart. Bubba got to get something to drink from the water fountain, but I had to stay in the cart. Then after we were done pushing the cart around we went up to a lady and gave her all the things from the cart. She held the things up to a machine and after she heard a beeping noise, she gave the things back to Mama. Then we got in the car and left.
Tuesday was Daddy's day off. Daddy got us out of bed and helped us get dressed and gave us breakfast. We couldn't find Mama anywhere! I heard Daddy tell Bubba that Mama had to go to the courthouse. We didn't see her all day long. But we had LOTS of fun with Daddy. He took us to the place where they put you up in a chair and tell you to sit very still while they put shiny, sharp things near your head. And those shiny sharp things make some of your hair go away. Last time they took me to that place I didn't cry...much. This time I did. Maybe Daddy felt bad for me cause when we were done at that place, Daddy took us to the playground and then to McDonald's for lunch. I loved the food there SO MUCH that I wanted to put as much of it into my mouth at one time as I could.
On Wednesday and Thursday Mama had to go to the courthouse again but Daddy had to go to work. So we went to "Missy Dween's" house. (Mama said that were going to Miss Doreen's house but I like how Bubba says it better.) We played with toys and ate food and took naps at Missy Dween's house. Then Mama came and got us and we went home. It's lots of fun to go to Missy Dween's house, but I missed Mama. I gave her lots of hugs when I saw her.
Thursday night we never got to see Daddy. And we didn't see him on Friday when we woke up either. We didn't see him until Friday night. Bubba said he went to work. Mama said he went to Pittsburgh. What's Pittsburgh? Wherever he was, he's home now and I'm happy. I missed him.
On Friday Mama didn't have to go to the courthouse so we didn't go to Missy Dween's house. Mama took us to see the animals at the pet store. We saw cats ("EEEEEEE") and dogs ("ooof!") and fish ("bub-bub-bub") and birds. My favorite were the dogs.
What did you do this week?

Hey, Andrew,
If you can learn to do those steps by yourself, maybe you can sneak some more stories past Mommy's notice. You have such an interesting perspective of life that we'd like to see more.

Hi Andrew,
Well, I went to work all week. When I got home from work on some of the days I worked in my yard. I like working in my yard. You will like helping mom in the yard too some day.
I also wanted to ride my bike but my tire is as flat as a pancake. My husband will change that for me soon, I hope. Some day you will also ride a bike and I am sure you will have lots of fun on that too! You can go very far and fast!
Maybe your "bubba" will ride a bike with you!
Now we have a new week to do all sorts of fun things! Just don't tire Mama out too much!
With love,
Mrs. Holli Hampton
