Duck on a Tractor
by J and A

One day Duck had a wild idea. "I bet I could drive a tractor."

He waddled over to where the farmer parked his tractor.

First he rode very slowly. He bumped a lot, but it was fun.

Duck rode past Cow. "Hi, Cow!" said Duck.

Duck rode past Sheep. "Hi, Sheep!" said Duck.

Next Duck rode past Dog. He said, "Hi, Dog!"

Then he rode past Cat. He said, "Hi, Cat!"

Duck rode past Horse. "Hi, Horse!" said Duck.

Then next he rode past Chicken. And he said, "Hi, Chicken!"

Then next he rode past Goat. He said, "Hi, Goat!"

Goat said, "I'd like to eat that tractor!"

Then next he rode past Pig and Pig. He said, "Hi, Pig and Pig!"

Next he rode past Mouse. Then he said, "Hi, Mouse!"

Suddenly, a whole bunch of farmers came down the road on tractors. They were in such a hurry that they didn't see Duck. They parked their tractors by the barnyard and went in the barn.

Then all the animals were looking at all the tractors. Then they got on the tractors and rode on them.

Soon they parked the tractors by the barnyard.
